About Felicia Holtz

Education:

Felicia earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan and a master's degree in Education from Rutgers University. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in Counseling – Addiction: Integrative Recovery of Co-Occurring Disorders at Hazelden Betty Ford, with an expected graduation date of Summer 2025.

Felicia holds a variety of certifications in Yoga instruction, including Yoga of 12-Step Recovery and is a Gendai Reiki Master Teacher.

Experience:

Felicia began her professional career as a school teacher, where she integrated yoga, mindfulness, and meditation into her classroom. While pursuing her second graduate degree, she completed her first internship semester at a primary substance use treatment program, gaining experience across residential, PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program), and IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) levels of care. In her second semester, she worked in a PHP/IOP setting serving primarily court-mandated clients.

What they do for Rosewood:

In her final internship semester, Felicia will facilitate and co-facilitate group therapy sessions, while also managing a caseload of clients for individual and family therapy.

Hobbies:

When not attending classes or completing internship hours, Felicia occasionally sings with a band and enjoys playing the harmonium. She has a strong interest in research and stays balanced through singing, movement, and gardening—a longtime passion of hers.
