Practical training for the work clinicians actually do.
At Rosewood Recovery, we believe continuing education should be more than checking a box. It should strengthen clinical judgment, build confidence, encourage thoughtful practice, and give professionals tools they can bring back to their clients and teams.
Rosewood Recovery is proud to be an NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP No. 8157), allowing us to offer qualifying continuing education programs for counselors and behavioral health professionals.
Whether you are looking to deepen your clinical skills, explore a specialized area of practice, or bring meaningful training to your organization, our goal is to create educational experiences that are practical, engaging, and grounded in the realities of behavioral health care.

What Does It Mean to Be an NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider?
The National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) establishes standards for continuing education programs designed for professional counselors.
As an Approved Continuing Education Provider, Rosewood Recovery is authorized to offer NBCC credit for programs that meet NBCC continuing education requirements.
For participants, that means our qualifying trainings are intentionally developed with professional education in mind - including clearly defined learning objectives, qualified presenters, relevant clinical content, and appropriate continuing education documentation.Individual programs will clearly identify whether NBCC continuing education credit is available and the number of credit hours offered.
Training Built by Clinicians, for Clinicians
Some of the best professional development happens when we can move beyond theory and talk honestly about what clinical work looks like in the room.
Our trainings are designed with that in mind.
We focus on topics that behavioral health professionals encounter every day - from clinical assessment and risk management to ethics, boundaries, burnout, substance use, trauma, group facilitation, case conceptualization, and other areas of developing clinical practice.
Our goal is not simply to present information. We want participants to leave with a stronger understanding of the topic, practical strategies they can use, and new ideas that continue to influence their work after the training ends.

Topics We May Offer
- Preventing Burnout in Clinical Practice
- Ethics and Boundaries: Addressing Attachment in the Therapy Room
- You Want Me to Run How Many Hours of Group? Practical Skills for Group Facilitation, Development, and Documentation
- Beyond the Behavior: Understanding How Addiction Develops
- When "Are You Safe" Is Not Enough: Suicide Assessment, Crisis Intervention, and What Happens After a 302.
