Education

Lizzy earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Temple University. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Holy Family University, with an expected graduation date of Summer 2027.

Experience

Lizzy brings experience in trauma-informed wellness, group facilitation, mentoring, and supporting individuals through stress, grief, life transitions, and emotional challenges. Through her work as a yoga instructor and wellness facilitator, she has developed skills in creating emotionally safe and inclusive environments, building rapport, and incorporating mindfulness, grounding, nervous system regulation, and mind–body approaches into her work with others.

Her background also includes mentoring at-risk youth, supporting conflict resolution and emotional skill-building, and serving in high-stress, trauma-exposed environments that required resilience, teamwork, and effective communication.

What they do for Rosewood

As a counseling intern at Rosewood Recovery, Lizzy is continuing to build her clinical skills through supervised experience working with individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, and co-occurring concerns. With a trauma-informed, client-centered approach, she integrates mindfulness, somatic awareness, and evidence-based coping strategies to support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and personal growth.

‍Hobbies

Outside of work, Lizzy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling (ask her about her backpacking travels!), practicing yoga, and staying active through movement and working out…but she equally loves being a couch potato at home with her husband and their two cats.
