Education
Maria earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from West Chester University and is currently pursuing her master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Lehigh University. She is expected to graduate in May 2027.
What they do for Rosewood
Maria is completing her field placement, where she is gaining experience in both individual and group therapy within a professional clinical setting. She is developing her skills through observation, supervision, and integration of her master’s coursework into clinical practice. She is building her therapeutic approach with a focus on psychodynamic principles, while also incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and person-centered, and humanistic therapy into her clinical work. Maria looks forward to continuing her professional growth and contributing to the Rosewood Recovery team throughout her field placement.
Hobbies
When she’s not at work or at an internship, Maria enjoys spending time with her family, watching a good movie, or diving into a new book series. She loves exploring new restaurants, traveling, and making memories with friends and loved ones. In her free time, Maria also enjoys journaling and painting.
